Feature list
Every feature of ISPOpera’s ISP management software
Billing, payments, RADIUS and MikroTik control, fiber topology, inventory, support, staff, resellers, reports and a customer app. This is everything an ISP gets on ISPOpera, in plain words.
Billing and invoices
Recurring billing for internet packages, without anyone typing a bill.
Automatic recurring invoices
- Every day at 6 AM the next invoice is created for each customer whose subscription ends within 7 days. The due date is the day the subscription ends.
Branded PDF invoices
- Invoices download as PDF with your own logo, and include a traffic report page showing daily usage for the billing period.
Discounts and one-off charges
- Apply a discount to an invoice, or add a one-time charge such as installation or a router.
Clear invoice statuses
- Pending, overdue, partially paid, paid and cancelled, searchable by invoice number, customer name, RADIUS username, email or phone.
Packages
- Define speed, price and validity once. The package decides both what the customer is billed and what the router allows.
Payments
However your customers pay, the invoice and the connection stay in step.
Payment proofs from the customer app
- Customers pay into your bank, JazzCash or Easypaisa account and upload the slip. Approve it and the invoice is paid, the customer is activated and the internet is restored. Reject it with a reason and they can upload again.
Record cash and other payments
- Staff record a payment in seconds, with method, reference and notes. ISPOpera shows the new subscription period before you confirm.
No lost days
- If a customer pays early, the new period starts the day after the old one ends. If they had already expired, it starts today.
Payments ledger
- Every payment with its date, amount, method and who collected it, filterable by method and date.
RADIUS, MikroTik and network control
What you change in ISPOpera is what happens on the router.
FreeRADIUS integration
- Customer accounts live in RADIUS, so activation, suspension and speed changes take effect on your network without logging in to the router.
MikroTik rate limits
- Each package’s speed is applied as a MikroTik rate limit for the customers on it.
Automatic suspension and reactivation
- At midnight, customers whose subscription has ended are taken off RADIUS. When a payment is approved they come straight back.
IP pools
- Define IP pools, match them to the pools on your MikroTik and assign customers to them. Each customer shows which pool their current IP belongs to.
Router health alerts
- Every 5 minutes ISPOpera checks that your router is still talking to RADIUS and alerts you if it stops, and again when it recovers.
Live usage and online status
- See who is online, live download and upload speed, and daily, monthly and yearly usage history for each customer.
Fiber topology
A live map of your fiber network, tied to the customers on it.
Network map
- POPs, OLTs, switches, splitters, ONUs, PON ports and every link between them in one diagram.
Shared fault detection
- When several customers under the same box are offline together, ISPOpera flags a shared fault instead of a coincidence.
Impact lookup
- Pick any splitter, cable or OLT port and see every customer that depends on it, offline ones first.
Path tracing
- Trace a customer back to the OLT, with total fiber length and estimated optical loss.
Customers and onboarding
Bring your existing customers across, and add new ones in a minute.
Bulk import from Excel
- Import packages and customers from one spreadsheet. Existing RADIUS usernames and passwords are kept, so no device has to be reconfigured. Failed rows come back in a file with the error next to each one.
Customer profile
- Status, package, usage, invoices, payments, installed equipment and documents on one page.
CNIC and document storage
- Keep CNIC copies and legal documents against each customer.
New connection requests
- People who ask ISPOpera for internet in your area arrive in your New Connections list, ready to be added as customers.
Support and communication
Fewer phone calls, and a record of every problem.
Complaints
- Customers raise complaints from their app. Your team assigns them, updates the status and resolves them.
Live chat
- Customers chat with your team from their app. Your staff have a private internal chat, and ISP owners can message ISPOpera support.
Automatic reminders
- Expiry reminders 7, 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1 days before a package ends and on the day, plus due-date reminders for unpaid invoices.
Announcements and push notifications
- Send your own notification to customers, for example about an outage or an offer, straight to their phones.
Team, permissions and resellers
Everyone sees what they need, and nothing they should not.
Support staff with granular permissions
- Each staff member has their own login and only the permissions you grant: customers, invoices, payments, complaints, inventory, topology, reports and more.
Resellers
- Resellers create and manage their own customers under your ISP with their own login and dashboard, while you keep control of the platform.
Inventory and devices
Every router, ONU and roll of cable, accounted for.
Stock in, issue and install
- Receive stock, hand it to a technician and install it at a customer. Installing from inventory reduces stock and adds the charge to the customer’s bill.
Technician accounts
- See what each technician is holding, so nothing goes missing between the store and the customer.
Take back, replace and repair
- Take equipment back from a customer, replace a device, and track faulty items through repair.
Reports and finance
The numbers of your ISP, without a spreadsheet.
Dashboards
- Revenue trend, customer growth, churn, ARPU, online customers and your top customers.
Expenses
- Record salary, rent, utilities, equipment, maintenance and fuel, each with an optional receipt.
Financial report
- Revenue, expenditure and profit for each month, in rupees.
Customer app
A self-service portal for every customer, installable on any phone.
Usage, package and expiry
- Customers check their own package, expiry date and data usage instead of calling you.
Bills and payments
- View and download invoices, see your payment details, upload a payment slip and follow its status.
Complaints, chat and notifications
- Raise a complaint, message the provider and receive reminders and announcements.
Installs like an app
- Works in any browser on a phone, tablet or computer and installs in one tap, with push notifications. No app store needed.
Automation
The schedule ISPOpera keeps for you
These jobs run by themselves, every day, in Pakistan time.
| When | What ISPOpera does by itself |
|---|---|
| Every day, 12:00 AM | Expired accounts are suspended. Customers whose subscription has ended are taken off RADIUS. Anyone with a payment slip under review is left connected. |
| Every day, 6:00 AM | Invoices are generated. The next invoice is created for every customer whose subscription ends within 7 days, due on the day it ends. |
| Every day, 8:00 AM | Expiry reminders go out. Customers are notified on their phone 7, 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1 days before their package expires, and on the day itself. |
| Every 6 hours | Unpaid invoices are followed up. Due-date reminders are sent for you, so nobody has to chase anybody by phone. |
| Every 15 minutes | Usage is synced from RADIUS. Traffic from your network is rolled up into usage for every customer, for dashboards and reports. |
| Every 5 minutes | Router health is checked. If your MikroTik stops talking to RADIUS you get a router-down alert, and another when it recovers. |
